UNO Teams Card Game for Family Nights and Travel with Colorblind Accessible Cards

Team Up for a New Twist on Classic UNO

UNO Teams reinvents the classic card game with a collaborative twist. Instead of playing every-man-for-himself, players form teams of two and work together to empty both hands. Special cards and rules help teammates coordinate their strategy, but both players must get rid of all their cards to win the game.

Key Features and Specifications

• Team-Based Gameplay: Play in pairs against other teams. Teammates sit across from each other and can strategize together—but cannot reveal or hint at the cards in their hands.
• Special Team Cards: Includes Wild Team Play and Wild Team Draw 4 cards designed specifically for collaborative play.
• Passing Symbol Mechanic: Cards with a "pass" symbol let players pass one card of their choice to their partner, adding a strategic layer to every turn.
• Half-Hand Advantage Rule: If one teammate goes out, they take half of their partner's remaining cards and keep playing—keeping the team in the game.
• Colorblind Accessible Design: Cards feature color identifier symbols so players with color vision deficiency can distinguish colors easily. Mattel has committed to making 80% of its games portfolio colorblind accessible by end of 2024, and UNO Teams is part of this initiative.

• Player Count: 2 to 4 teams (4 to 8 players).
